Swordsman Online Hits Chinese Beta Testing

For our regular viewers that caught JamesBl0nde and DizzyPW's Most Anticipated Games of 2013, you may have learned of a distant gem we had our sights on since its extraordinarily early appearance at E3 2010, Swordsman Online. Well the long wait is finally over, at least for those that know Chinese, as the open beta is now going strong (and without IP block!).

Recent in-house developed titles by Perfect World have shown remarkable speed in localization so our prediction of a fourth quarter 2013 English beta may be spot on the mark. But for now be sure to check out the Youtube video maker Yuusha Exa for a look at the early gameplay, character customization, and preview of advanced martial arts. While animations are still lacking on a lot of NPCs, it can't be denied the cutscenes and skill animations are top notch.

The power of ratio and the importance of POE orb

The currency system in the Path of Exile can be quite confusing especially for the new players. It doesn't follow the traditional “gold” system like the other MMORPG but instead the players are encouraged to trade using items like POE orbs or depending on their needs.

The Vendor exchange ratio of POE Orb

Everything in the POE has a certain value in it. The prices of each POE orbs are determined by the levels of rarity, vendor exchange prices, recipes and player’s demand. The economy in this game is like the other MMORPG that included markets that based on supply and demand.

Below is a sample on what might the vendors has to offer:

Some of the prices in the market often fluctuate slightly. It is important to note that highly valued POE orbs are often sold at a much higher price than normal since some of the players are willing to pay.

SWTOR credit guide for the empty wallets

Some or new players don’t have any idea how to increase their SWTOR credits or they‘re just lazy to do it. Perhaps if you have a bit of time available, you could learn anything from this guide which could help you on how to increase you SWTOR credits. If you’re lucky you could become rich.

Filling up your wallet with SWTOR credits

The most important thing to do to increase your SWTOR credits is by completing missions, of course especially the main ones for your class. Completing the missions will earn you enough credits, and that credits will be your own capital for the more advance technique when increasing you SWTOR credits. Most players spend their SWTOR credits on gears, med packs, stim packs or other items that is not really important or useless. You DON’T need to spend that much. Just take every mission as you can and while you’re at it, take also the bonus mission reward. Leveling from up to 50 is enough without buying much; this will make you start on Galactic Market Trading Empire.

Trading on Galactic Market is the most effective way to earn more SWTOR credits. You will not stop making more credits once you start using this method. Know the items that you want to sell especially with a high value items. When the items have been sold, you can have a decent amount of SWTOR credits.

Or if you’re just really that lazy then you could just buy SWTOR credits from other players for instant credits. Players that sells SWTOR credits can be found on some forum markets or some site that provide trading platforms to use to trade between players.

[Tips] What exactly POE orbs are?

Path of Exile (POE) uses traditional currency of gold but instead of gold they prefer a series of POE orb which can be used to modify some aspect of an item as their preferred currency that can be used for both trading and crafting.

Uses of POE Orbs for Crafting

  1. Orb of Alchemy – It upgrades white items to rare items.
  2. Orb of Scouring – Downgrades rare/magic item to a white item.
  3. Chaos Orb – Re forges a rare item
  4. Orb of Chance - Upgrades a white item to a magic/rare/unique
  5. Regal Orb - Adds ONE mod to a magic item (changing it into a rare)
  6. Exalted Orb - Adds ONE mod to a rare item (max of 6 mods)
  7. Divine Orb - Rerolls the values on an item's mods
  8. Blessed Orb - Rerolls the value on an item's implicit mod.
  9. Chromatic Orb - Rerolls the colors on an item's sockets.
  10. Jeweler’s Orb - Rerolls the number of sockets on an item
  11. Orb of Fusing - Rerolls the links on an item
  12. Orb of Transmutation - Changes a white item to a magic item
  13. Orb of Augmentation - Add a mod to a magic item with only 1 mod.
  14. Eternal Orb – Creates an Imprint of an item for later restoration.

To prevent wasting your orb to some useless items, you need to remember to use the POE orb to an item that is hard to purchase. Don’t overspend your orb as long as you can, you might need them in the future.
